This is a new 3d printed rubber intake boot that goes between the plastic intake conduit and the throttle body on Bosch CIS mk1 Volkswagens. I needed one for my 79 scirocco so I modeled and 3d printed a brand new replacement. Perhaps you need one also...
ACHTUNG ! This is for my earlier model scirocco and has only 1 (ONE) extra vacuum connection which leads to the bypass valve. Some later model CIS cars had 2 (TWO) extra connections. (I actually don't know what the other connection was for...All my CIS cars have only one connection that is used)It is 3d printed in super strong rubber at 230 celsius and will easily withstand the under hood temperatures and vacuum of the volkswagen 8v overhead cam engine used in many of the late 70s to late 80s VWs.
The underside of the part has some surface imperfections. This is an artifact from the 3d printing process and is unavoidable. However, these imperfections are on the bottom and are completely invisible when the part is on your VW.
