This is a new Shift Rod Guide Bushing kit for your T-2 VW part # 211 798 211 to repair the shifter rod going from below your shifter to the front of the transmission, the 7 pieces shown are what is in the kit.
NOTE: Complete Shift Rod Bushing Kit includes shift rod bushings only.Boots, couplers and other hardware are not included.
You need this if your shifter is sloppy orloose after you put it in gear or if you are having problems shifting this must be fixed to even find out if you have a problem with your transmission.
This will fityour type 2 Volkswagen Bus made from 1950 to 1979 and VW Vanagon from 1980-1991, this kit DOES NOT contain the center bushing for air-cooled vanagons 1980-83.5. It is part number 251711207 and is quite rare.
You might also need a clutch cable orguide sleeve/ Bowden tube is the correct name or a rear coupler for your shifter - I also have these listed.
