You are bidding on a HurstCompetition plus, 4 Speed shifter #555234.The Hurst shifter was in my 1964 Corvette when I bought it.
I drove the Vette for awhile and the shifter worked fine but the transmission would slip out of and 3rdgears on compression. So, I then decidedto make some improvements and of causes being a real naivest when I started Iended up do a complete restoration.
So I took the Hurst shifterout and put a stock shifter in. A side note, I even changed rear end to a 3:36ratio because I was doing a lot of high way driving. (I wish I had put in 3:08)
The Hurst shifter mayfit other GM cars Camaro, Chevrolets etc.
Please look at thepicture and make sure this is correct foryourcar before bidding / Buying.
Note: In the picturesyou should be able to see that the chrome shifter is good shape.
