For sale is a pair of NOS, new in the box, never used. beautiful, Cragar S/S wheels, part number 8049. They are a 15X6 deep dish wheels and are the original Cragar direct bolt design wheels, which means they only fit one bolt pattern. These wheels have a 1 15/16\" back spacing which means the center is welded as far back in the wheel as possible, as pictured above in picture number eleven. These wheels measure 6\" bead to bead, are 6 31/32 wide total, so most of the wheel is away from the mounting surface, thus the deep look. The first wheel was manufactured 8/8/1973, the second one 3/15/1973, so they are survivors! They were in my speed shop since the mid seventies, the eighties, and nineties , and into storage around 2005. So they have been handled a few times , thus the boxes are rougher than a night in jail. The first wheel I pulled out of the box to clean up to sell is a ten on a ten scale, it is perfect in every way, the second wheel is equally as perfect, I was surprised, one previous pair of wheels had one with spider damage, this is truly a beautiful pair of wheels, even in the bead area as pictured above in picture number six. These wheels are manufactured with a 5 on 5 pattern, as shown in picture four, which fit most of your 1971 and later full sized Chevrolet Caprice and Impalas, and full sized vans and pick ups and some full sized Ford passenger cars. These wheels come with center caps but no lug nuts. The rear of the Cragar S/S style wheel is fairly flat so spacers may be required, rarely for calipers, more for rivets, drum weights or concave drums. More than once I had an irate customer fussing about me selling them a warped wheel, we would go outside and check things, and find a drum weight or concave drum preventing the wheel from bolting up flat. Try the wheel on the car before you mount up a tire, they\'re a lot easier to handle that way if there is a problem. Both wheels were polished with Smith Brite, and ready to go. If you have any questions about the compatibility of your vehicle and the parts I sell feel free to contact me through eBay. Thanks for looking, Scotty.
