Digitizer is made of Capacitive Touch Technology. Meaning capacitive touch screens are coated with a transparent conductive film. When a fingertip comes into contact with a capacitative touchscreen, it can use the conductivity of the human body as a means for input.Made of high quality tinted glass to reduce glare, prism and rainbow effect. Digitizer uses a copper ribbon cable with 4 pins to connect to the electrical board of your navigation system. Does not have adhesive tape around edges.

A: Regarding these digitizer is if they have the rainbow effect that some people are experiencing from other online sellers.My digitizers are made of lightly tinted black glass with a matte finish so it does not have the rainbow effect that some people are reporting. Buy with confidence.I have personally completed over 20+ installation of these digitizer for local customers and they all have been satisfied.Be careful of the cheaper digitizers that have the rainbow/prism effect.

A: The typical installation time takes about 1-2 hours for most people performing the installation for the first time.
