Designed to combine long wear and good comfort, Touring LSTtires provide all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.
Touring LST tires feature Sumitomo\'s fine grain carbon black tread compound molded into a computer-designed symmetric pattern that combines all-season capability with long treadlife. Innovative shoulder blocks enhance cornering traction while a center rib provides continuous road contact for a quieter ride.Sipes in the independent shoulder and intermediate blocks increase the number of biting edges to enhance operation through a variety of weather conditions, while four circumferential grooves help drain water to resist hydroplaning.
The Touring LST tire�s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced bySumitomo\'s spirally wound Jointless Nylon Band (JNB) technology to increase long-term durability. I can\'t say it is an outstanding tire but good enough if you want cheap and have resonable expectations. My experience with FWD minivans is they wear tires faster than most vehicles. This has a lowish treadware rating so it lived up to it\'s promise with those things considered. I didn\'t note when they were installed but I\'d guess I got about 20k mi out of them and they are down to wear bars. They are still riding ok which is commendable. I\'m replacing these with Sumitomo HTR\'s which are slightly more expensive but I think their better ratings and longer life will be worth the difference.
I can\'t comment on snow or ice performance and wet traction does seem marginal. At a low price point these might fill your needs.
