The LSA camshaft is a very low lift camshaft with very mild opening and closing ramp rates for low valvetrain noise and very good valvetrain durability.
NOTE - this LSA camshaft is a single bolt camshaft (not a three bolt camshaft like most Gen III V8 camshafts and some Gen IV engines)

To use this in place of a three bolt camshaft you will need a single bolt camshaft gear

ALSO NOTE - the LSA camshaft does NOT have the camshaft position sensor reluctor at the back of the camshaft like the Gen III engine camshaft do.

To use this in a Gen III block (LS1, LS6 etc.) you will need to change to the timing cover with the camshaft position sensor in the cover.

I do not think a single bolt timing gear gear with the 1x camshaft position sensor pattern needed for the earlier engines exists so I don\'t think you can use this with a 24x engine
