These Sealed Power sets contain bluePermaTorque head gaskets for use with cast iron cylinder heads and good to about 10.5:1 compression. The Blue Stripe cork/rubber valve cover gaskets are for 6 bolt valve covers -early big blocks up to about 1964 had 4bolt covers. They also have the outside tabsthat fit in the slotsthe stockvalve covers had. Thesenot only served to help locate the gasket on the cover, but helped preventoil leaks such as the gasketgetting sucked in.
