NOS E70-15 Goodyear WideTread GT Speedway 68 Shelby Camaro Z-28 wheel / tire
Here up for auction is an NOSGoodyear Speedway tire. This tire is an E70-15 Wide Tread GT tire that ismounted on a 68 Ford 15 x 6” rim. This tire is NOS and still the nubs on thetread face from no road use at all. I believe this tire is correct for 68-69Z-28 Camaro’s and is very close to the original tire used on a 68Shelby. Raised white letters on one side and blackwall on the other. The Fordrim appears to be new as well and has a date of 8M ( Dec 1968)on it. The tire is dated Dec 1968 same as the rim.I have takenclose up pictures of the tire details so you can determine what year of MFG. itis.The tire is absolutely perfect with no dry rot or damage at all. The samegoes for the rim. I am not sure how this rim wound up with this tire but bothseem to be period correct pieces in new condition. Would make a very nice sparefor a 68 Shelby Mustang or a perfect concours tire for a Z-28 Camaro. Very harditems to come across .Winner pays actual shipping UPS charges.
