Installation instruction:
1. Connect the wire harness with the central control unit. Then connect the wires to the car according to the wiring diagram.
2. Connect the light sensor with the central control unit.
3. Check all wiring to make sure they are connected and insulated properly.
4. Test auto switch function: Turn ignition to “on”, turn off headlights, cover the light sensor to simulate dark condition. Headlights should turn on automatically. Then remove the cover. The headlights should turn off automatically.
5. Test “home” function: Cover the light sensor to simulate darkness. Turn ignition and headlights to “off”. The headlights should stay on for 30 seconds before turning off.
6. Test remote control function: Cover the light sensor to simulate darkness. Turn ignition and headlights to “off”. Use remote control and lock the car. Then use remote control on unlock car. The headlights should turn on automatically and stay on for 30 second.
7. After testing all functions, place the sensor close to the dashboard where it is exposed to outside light.
Note: Make sure sensor is placed in a manner to expose to outside lighting condition. Avoid objects that can block the light sensor.
