Up for sale is a pair of adjustable rear camber kit forthe Mercedes Benz S-class W220, W221, W222, S55, S63, S65 AMG models. These are make to fit models with airbags for the rear suspension.
These kits are fabricate locally here in the United States. The angled rod ends are made of stainless steel with Energy Suspension poly graphite filled bushings and stainless steel inserts. The hex rod is made of brushed 6061-T6 tempered aluminum for strength, durability and CNC to precise fitting. The double jam nut is make for \"on the spot\" quick adjustment for tracking your car.
These are great forcorrecting negative camber - when the top of the wheel is tipped in towards the body. Camber is the tilt of the wheel along its vertical axis. Runningwider tires orcar with lowering springs can cause this issue where your tiresare wearing out on the inside. They are also great for older cars where the suspensiontends tosaghence the wheel looks \"spray out\".
To some degree, this is a good thing as it allows more of the tire tread to stay in contact with the ground during hard cornering. But ifyou have too much negative camber, which degrades cornering performance as well as hinders grip during hard acceleration. With extreme negative camber, the inner walls of your tires will be worn out quicker.
The camber kitcan straighten the wheels by dialing out the negative camber, something you can\'t do with the stock suspension. They are also great forrace dayswherechangingfrom street tires to drag or race tires where the camber need to be adjusted on the spot. You can manual dial thewheel in by adjusting the rod in or out.
Also I am currently carrying the polyurethane lubrication - Energy Suspension Formula 5 Prelube item # 301205378325. These are great to pre-lube the rod ends, bolts, nuts, the polyurethane bushingsand the aluminum piping before installation. A small drop isall you need to lube and waterproof the bolt, nuts, bushingsand rod ends. Let me know if you want the prelubewith the kit and I can ship them together.
When ordering, please specify which color polyurethane bushings you want. Red or black. If there is no specific color requested, the default would be black.
