The SET contains necessery replacement parts such as improved construction springs, gears and seals. To make repair job easy you will also receive a necessary tool and detailed installation instructions.
Mercedes Door lock problems are common and well known to their owners. Poorly designed parts causing troubles after 5-6 years of exploatation. It affects front and rear actuators as well. Now you are able to repair it yourself.
There are three main couses of lock damage :
1) poorly designed spring breaks
2) Plastic gear wears down
3) Broken seal - resulting in a large amount of dirt in the lock and the occurrence of above defects
The most common symptoms:
-door lock bounces up and down
-it takes a few attempts to lock or even unable to lock
