This is from a1979 Mercedes 450SL Convertible. I am not an expert and the car never belonged to me. Please,confirmcompatibilitywith your car before buying(I am using other ebay sellers for the info contained in the listing title).

Overall this deck lid is in great condition.

  • The vinyl has a scratch and a couple of minor blemishes. I think the pics do it justice, but I might have missed a blemish or two.
  • The metal is bent in on both the pass/driver side (pictured) on the
  • Spots of rust here and there, as expected
  • Scratches in the paint above the very center of the chrome trim (pic is pretty accurate)
  • Light scratches in chrome, primarily in the center (pictured)
  • There\'s some white \"stuff\" in the gap between the chrome and the painted sheet metal. I\'m not sure if these is dried wax / chrome polish or something else? No idea.
  • Some things I\'m sure I\'m missing, it is, afterall, 35+ years old!
  • I wiped this with a damp cloth, didn\'t go nuts, so it should clean up. I may polish the chrome and takeadditionalpics if it doesn\'t sell in areasonablyshort period of time.
Shipping:
48 States Only! International bidders can use Ebay Global Shipping, but I\'d expect a VERY EXPENSIVE overseas trip.
Standard: UPS Ground within 48-72 hours Mon-Fri, some Saturdays. I\'d expect this to take closer to 72 hours as I will need to buy some additional packing supplies when it sells.
Local pickup: Make me an offer that includes pick up in the St. Louis area (63112). I may also consider meeting you within two hours of the St. Louis area (i.e. Springfield, IL; Rolla, Mo;Columbia, Mo; etc).
Greyhound Shipping: I know Greyhound ships bulk items fairly inexpensively, make me an offer that includes a shipping quote you received from them and I can take it to the bus station.
