Lotus Europa Axle Upgrade Kit eliminates the infamous \"Lotus Flying-Wheel Syndrome\". We have increased the size of the stub axle thread to a 7/8\"-14.
The steel of the axle and all of the parts in the kit is upgraded to 4140 Chrome-Moly steel hardened to 42Rc.
The Hub I.D. design has been changed to a smooth shaft with three keys instead of splines. Splines are not intended for side-loading.
This sale contains parts for both axles as shown.
You can either send us your old axles because we use the yokes. Or, we can supply yokes for an additional $140.00 for the kit.
Solid billet axles are available for an additional $800.00 for the kit.
