Up for auction is an independent rear suspension setup from a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII, complete with subframe, aluminum lower control arms, disc brake assemblies, upper control arms, knuckles, rear swaybar, and more. This auction does NOT include the aluminum center section (pumpkin assembly), and the halfshafts/axles are bad (cut/broken) on this unit. Also most likely will need new brake rotors and pads (possibly new calipers as well), since I don\'t know the condition of the brakes, and it has been sitting for some time. One of the aluminum lower control arm has some surface scrapes/gouges (see pic), but does not effect functionality, and the subframe assembly has some surface rust, but is still structurally sound (no \"rot\"). Having said that, this is from a Southern car that I can personally attest has spent, at the very least, the last 10+ years in the South (North Carolina- I purchased this car sometime around March or April, 2004, and it came from Charlotte, NC at that time), so the ferrous metal parts on it (including the subframe) are in much better condition than many I\'ve seen, especially those that have been exposed to Northern winters (and the corrosive salt used on the roads). The Mark VIII this was removed from had 128k miles, so the mileage on this unit is relatively low as well. This package would be ideal if you have a MN12 (1989-1997) Thunderbird or Cougar with a bad/rotted subframe, as you will be upgrading to the better (lighter) aluminum lower control arms and disc brakes (if yours is a drum brake model), or even if you don\'t need the subframe assembly, remove the parts you need to upgrade yours, and sell the rest (check the E-Bay prices on just the BARE rear subframes). Obviously, this will also fit 1993-1998 Mark VIII\'s as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
