This is the perfect LS Swap \"Alternator Only\" bracket setup for use with TRUCK spacing accessories (will not work with F-body/Corvette spacing). Includes everything needed!
Lightweight, easy to install, works with most truck and car LS alternators (does not work with 6.2 alternator!).
Our adapter allows the use of an LS1 F-body Alternator bracket with truck accessories. Clears most valve covers and provides a rigid,stable mount for your alternator.
Works with ALL truck style water pumps/tensioners. Setup is pictured with LS1 water pump (use of our water pump spacers required when using LS1 pump with truck accessories).
At your option, you can use the LS1 F-body idler pulley with this setup (not shown in pics).
Run as shown in the picture, a 68.5\" belt is required (not included), such as Dayco part # 5060685 (metric: 6PK1740).If you choose to run the LS1 idler pulley, you will require a 1-1.5\" longer belt such as Goodyear Part# 4060695.Our customers say:
