High flow exhaust headers for Jaguar cars with Chevy V8 conversions. These are specially made for converted cars and will fit all 70-87 XJ6, XJ12, XJ6C, XJ12C, and 76-96 XJS cars. Professionally made -these are basically a tubular equivalent in inlet and outlet location of the familiar Chevy “ram horn” exhaust manifold (shown for comparison in one picture). However, they likely flow twice as well as the cast iron manifolds.
Important note- These ARE NOT \"Block Hugger\" style headers; that common style of header will not fit the Jaguar chassis. Our headers are made specially for the Jaguar Chevy conversion and drop straight down from the heads, so they will clear the steering on the driver side. \"Block hugger\" headers will not work for your conversion- don\'t make that mistake...
Features include 1 ½ “ primary tubes, a 2 ½” collector, and a patented flange design that requires no gaskets (!!!). These are the only professionally made headers available that will fit these cars. Can be used for new car builds, or to retrofit to a car that has already been converted. If your car is now using ram horn cast iron manifolds, then these headers can replace them. The headers are designed to work with straight or angle plug heads on all Chevy small blocks, and can be also used on late model GM Fast Burn heads (D-port, Email us for more info).
Each header set comes complete with all mounting hardware and a matching headpipe flange to weld into your exhaust system. Standard header finish is plain steel. Silver ceramic coating (like chrome), as shown in the photo, is available as an option for an additional $175 for the set.
SUPER FLOW: For highly built or larger displacement engines ijn jaguar conversions, we also offer a higher flow version of our standard header. This model is made with 1 5/8\" primary tubes and a 2 1/2\" collector. Please Email us for more info.
