All parts are warranted against defects in workmanship and material for a period of 12 months or 20,000kms from the date of sale, which ever occurs first, unless otherwise stated.
Any parts found upon examination by an authorised Extra Mile Auto representative to be defective in material or workmanship will be refunded or replaced by Extra Mile Auto as requested by the customer. The cost of returning parts under this warranty must be borne by the customer and must be pre-paid. Where a warranty fault has been recognised by Extra Mile Auto, costs for shipping at the same service as used in dispatch will be refunded. In order to make a claim under this warranty, the faulty product, warranty claim form and copy of invoice must be provided to Extra Mile Auto.
Warranty claims must meet one the following criteria to be eligible for a refund:
- The product is faulty or not of acceptable quality; or
- The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or
- The product does not match the sample or the advertised descriptions; or
- The product was damaged during delivery
Customers wishing to claim a warranty must first obtain and complete the Warranty Claim form and return it and a copy of the invoice with the goods to the seller.
