This is a companion to any 3\" MAF pipe that you want to mate to a better flowing 3.5\" MAF sensor.
That is one mod you can actually feel behind the wheel. The turbo will spool faster and I\'ve noticed a better \'turbo whistle\' sound while driving. the 3\" LTI sensor is a wonderful upgrade to a Turbo Regal but it has one limitation. If you measure the actual flow area of a 3\" sensor it\'s only about 65% of the flow area of a 3\" pipe! The airfoil in there takes up a lot of real estate.
I know it sounds like a waste of time to mount a 3.5\" sensor to a 3\" pipe, but in this case it\'s a large flow improvement. Plus, since it\'s on the intake side of the turbo, freeing up flow restriction counts even more!
