This lock fits vehicles which have a trunk lock retaining clip which is horizontal (side to side). If your trunk lock retaining clip is vertical (up and down) this is the WRONG lock.
The universal tailshaft with this lock may be too short for some models. If you have the original tailshaft, use it with the new lock cylinder. This lock with universal tailshaft attached, will reach inward 5 1/4 inches from the lock mounting surface to the latch mechanism. If your car is one of the few that needs a longer tailshaft,we can make a longer one by special request...no extra charge.

This lock is held in the trunk lid by ahorizontal retaining clip and fits many vehicles 1967-1999. The package will include the lock cylinder, 2 keys, gasket, universal tailshaft, and universal retaining clip.
The lock is probably best installed using the original/factory tailshaft and retaining clip.
