2. Position the Sticker:Carefully peel the backing paper from the vinyl sticker, exposing the adhesive side. Be cautious not to touch the adhesive surface with your fingers, as oils from your skin can reduce adhesion. Align the sticker with the desired position on the surface, ensuring it's level and centered. You can use masking tape to temporarily hold it in place if necessary.
3. Place the Sticker:Once you're satisfied with the positioning, gently place the sticker onto the surface. Start from the center and work your way outward, pressing down as you go. This helps prevent air bubbles from forming and ensures a smooth application.
4. Smooth Out Bubbles:To further eliminate air bubbles, use a squeegee or credit card. Starting from the center and moving toward the edges, firmly press the sticker onto the surface, pushing out any trapped air. Be thorough but gentle to avoid damaging the sticker.
5. Remove the Transfer Tape:If your vinyl sticker comes with transfer tape, it's time to remove it. Do this by gently peeling away the transfer tape at a 45-degree angle, leaving the sticker securely adhered to the surface.
