Adaptor kit to convert over the counter spark plug to replace the waterproof Auto lite 2243 and 2245 spark plugs used in many 1950's to 1980's military vehicles. Our own invention that has been thoroughly tested in our Jeeps. Special manufactured plastic sleeve that goes over the NGK BR6S spark plug and adaptor screw for attaching. The plastic is made from Peek brand high temperature plastic that is used in the oil field and aviation industry. The NGK spark plug that we recommend is compatible to the water proof plugs performance wise. To use, you simply buy the NGK spark plug number BR6S from your local auto parts store and remove the screw on terminal of the plug. Install in your engine. Slip the plastic sleeve over and secure with the supplied brass nut with a screw driver. Attach your spark plug cable and you are done. Cable needs to only be slightly tighter than your fingers can accomplish. The NGK spark plugs are less than $5.00 each at your auto parts store and seem to be of a much longer life than the original military water proof plugs.
