FINALLY! An upgraded top engine torque mount insert for these cars!!
If you've had one of these cars for much time at all, you know the top engine torque mounts don't last very long AT ALL. They are way too soft and weak and they quickly start to crack until they fall completely apart because they are over stressed and flexed. Once they start to fail, the engine can be felt slamming back and forth whenever the transmission changes gears or when you press/release the throttle.Now there is an upgraded Polyurethane Rubber option that will hold the engine in place much better, and have a much longer service life. These are not as hard as a normal "race" polyurethane mount that you may be familiar with. These are made of 70A Shore Hardness polyurethane which is softer than the 80-95A that most polyurethane mounts are made of. The 70A is a happy medium that is more firm than the original mount, but is not so hard that it transfers a lot of engine vibrations into the cabin of the car.Here is a a video link showing more details about the bushing, as well as how to replace it. https://youtu.be/iCOsigFyOAsNearly all items are made to order.
