The plughas6 pins inside and to mount and unmount the mirror by turning the unit clockwise to install and remove. Please double check to make sure the connector and mount is correct as there is an 8 pins plug version as well. Please check to make sure your car mount is this kind of style as well as the plug as there are one other unit with an 8 pins plug...
