Installation:Weld-On
Installing a new exhaust tip is a great way to instantly and inexpensively transform the appearance of your car's exhaust system Choose the tip that meets your tastes, needs, and installation abilities. If you have dual exhaust pipes, install a tip on both.
1.Measure for the Tip
The inside diameter of the exhaust tip. The inlet diameter must match the diameter of the car’s tailpipe. This is where the two pieces connect.
The outside diameter of the exhaust tip. The width of the bumper cutout limits the maximum outlet diameter. If you choose a tip that is too large, you will have to cut out part of the bumper. Try to avoid making this cut because it is difficult and expensive.
The length of the exhaust tip. Ideally, the exhaust tip is prominently visible, but not long enough to create a safety hazard.
2. Select and Install a Tip
Clamp-on and bolt-on tips are easier to install and you can change them out at whim. They are attached to the tailpipe by clamps or screws. We suggest to tighten them periodically to avoid loose.
Weld-on tips are theft-proof and secure. They are attached to the tailpipe by welded joints between the edges. The installation require more work to install.
