Edelbrock pontiac performer 326 389 400 455 intake
This item is an edelbrock 4bbl aluminum intake for a pontiac 326, 389, 400 and 455 engine. The intake was acquired in a trade and is an extra. The intake has low miles on it and is in excellent condition and 100% ready to bolt on and run.
This intake manifold is not like any other you might find available as 98% of any others you might find will have extensive corrosion wear at the water ports and at the thermostat mounting area.
This is normal wear with the intakes being run with a good amount of miles on them, also most of them will need work at the machine shop to replace stripped bolt threads as this is a common thing to happen with steel bolts and fittings, as they freeze up with aluminum.
Also after you have an intake manifold cleaned, you may uncover cracks and any other damage hidden under grease and dirt.
None of this is the case with my intake manifolds, mine are cleaned to the bare metal, and have any damaged bolt threads replaced, and mine only have a small amount of corrosion wear, which mine are as close to new as your going to get.
The intake would look great on an old vehicle, such as an old mustang or just about any classic ford or mercury.
The intake has no surprises, it has been professionally inspected, and found to be in excellent like new condition. All bolt threads are cleaned andin excellent condition. The intake is 100% ready to bolt on and run.
