Is this the same spring as the one that came on my truck from the factory?
This is an aftermarket truck spring built to the same specifications as your factory spring. Springs marked HD have the same dimensions as the original spring, however they are stiffer springs intended to carry more capacity.
If purchasing HD springs please buy a quantity of 2 as they cannot be used with an original spring.
Is this a Heavy Duty Spring?
If the part number ends in HD or it is mentioned as Heavy Duty in the description then yes, otherwise it is a standard duty spring.
Which side is this spring used for?
Leaf springs can be used on both drivers side and passengers of the vehicle unless stated otherwise in the title and description.
Does this spring come with all necessary hardware?
Leaf springs are sold with required bushings. Shackles, hangers, U-Bolts, and spring bolts are sold separately. You can find shackles and hangers here. For eye bolts and u bolts, or if you cannot find the appropriate shackles please contact customer service.
