One complete Rochester H or HV carburetor rebuild kit for Chevrolet Corvairs all years 1960-1969. This KIT includesEVERY part and gasket required for a complete rebuild of Corvair carburetors and is supplied by the largest kit manufacturers in the US. Ialso include a few extra clips that I think should be replaced. I had some minor changes made to their generic kits so you get the correct size inlet needle assembly (.084\") instead of a larger generic one (.101\") that isactually forsome Rochester 2BBL carbs of the same era. All parts that come in contact with fuel have been manufactured or treated to work with ethanol laced fuels, but I still recommend you use a product that defeats itand keeps water from settling out of it. Sta-bil and other companies supply such products. The kit includes a complete accelerator pump and is not simply a collection of gaskets found in some older \"zip kits\". If you are rebuilding a pair of carbs, you should order two kits. Shipping is free on the second one (and 3rd and 4th if you have a 140 engine)

Just a heads up that since most kit sellers buy from a couple of wholesale suppliers, and since this kit is the least expensive and complete one on eBay, you might want to consider why you could pay more for lessfor a different kitin another auction??? I have also found that most kits do not include what some others consider to be re-cycle-able,but are often corroded, so I will include a pump discharge needle, pump arm clip, and a couple of extra jesus clips just in case yours are not up to par or you loose one of those little clips (then you will understand why they call them that).

You shouldNEVER purchase a carburetor rebuild kit that is more than a year old and certainly not one advertised as \"NOS\" (New OLD Stock) unless you really like to rebuild carburetors, as it won\'t be long before youwill bedoing it again. There are a lot of EXPENSIVE kits out there, but these are priced reasonably as they are far from being rare at this point. If you get a real old kit you might even find one of the leather pump cups, which weren\'t very good even when they were new and are an unknown variable when used with current fuels.

If you want to change your main metering jets when you do your rebuild, I recommend using .050\" onesin 1960-61 carbs, .051\"in 1962-63 carbs, and .052\" for all other years. Secondary 140 HP carbs should be jetted at .049\" or .050\" depending on your driving style. Jetting the secondary carbs fatter than the primary ones is only for racing engines. I can supply new ones for $2.50 each if you will just let me know when you purchase your new kits and I can add them to your bill. I stock sizes from .045\" - .060\". DO NOT attempt to drill yours larger, as it will create an undesirable swirl pattern in them even if you are lucky enough to have an accurate sized machine shop bit. Bigger is not always better.

I don\'t have a picture right now, but you can check just about any other kit advertised on eBayto see what is in it, except that my kits will not have any \"extra\" parts or gaskets found in generic kits to figure out where they go or if they are needed. Different carbs use different parts and some use different thickness gaskets, so why worry when you can have the exact parts at a reduced price? Kits come with instructions and tips to make your job easier.

These are guaranteed by the manufacturer and I guarantee them to be correct, so if you discover any problem, I will replace them for you. If you are a weirdo who tries to get things without paying by saying that you thought this auction was for the carburetors in the pictures (which show what the kits are used on) please go bother someone else.
