They\'re CNC-machined to smooth and straighten airflow past the throttle plate while avoiding the tip-in stumbles that plague some home-ported jobs. Installation is a simple procedure that doesn\'t require any tuning. Owners routinely report power increases of 8-10 rwhp and fuel-economy improvements of 1-1.5 mpg with no other changes. And since Pete Incaudo uses a stock unit as the basis for the VMax, it\'s totally stealth. That\'s a lot of value for $150.
The VMax throttle body is CNC-Machined and completed with a smooth finish. It also removes a subtle lip from in front of the throttle blade, straightening airflow. This porting typically results in an airflow increase of at least 30 cfm.
**Some 2008 C6 Corvettes use LS2 Throttle Bodies with LS3 Engine.
Some LS7 Engines use a LS2 Throttle Body as well.
To make sure you have a LS3 Throttle Body insure the throttle Body has a Gold Throttle Plate. LS3 Throttle Bodies have a Silver Plate in most instances. If you are unsure contact us for assistance.

Note: LS2 Use Throttle Bodies with a Silver Throttle Plate. Some LS3 use a LS2 Throttle Body, specifically the 2008 Year. Most LS3 have a Gold Throttle Plate. We carry both LS2 and LS3 Throttle Bodies.
early LS7 use the Throttle Bodies as LS2 with Silver blade. If you are unsure what you have please check the color of your Throttle Plate. LS2 Engines can not use a LS3 Throttle Bodies and vise versa, except for 2008 models.
