This water/air intercooler pump is designed for circulating water in water/air intercoolers. Unlike other bilge-pump based solutions, this pump is designed by Bosch and Ford, and GM SPECIFICALLY for water/air applications. This Bosch pump flows 317GPH. This pump outperforms anything we have ever used, or was tested from Rule, Flojet, Centri-puppy, Central machinery, Jabsco, Meziere, Shurflo, GM, Atwood, JC Whitney, Johnson, and others.These Pumps are extremely reliable, and can be used on several different types of cars and trucks, and are OEM. Free flowing the LSJ Bosch pump ceiling-ed out @ 8GPM with 13.1 volts and pegged the 12 GPM gauge at over 16 volts. When the most restrictive part of the LSJ intercooler system to the setup(intercooler), was added, flow dropped to 4.5GPM. Anything over 4 GPM is good for an intercooler system, however, that is about ½ of what the pump is capable of. There is room for gains. This pump weighs only 2.2 Lbs., has ¾ fittings, and draws 2.7 amps @ 13.5 volts. Depending on voltage and load it can draw 1.8 amps at low voltage, and 3.5 amps max at very high voltage.
