This is a genuine BMW intake manifold that has larger intake runners , BMW used a smaller runner intake in later cars as used in M62 / M62TU engines in 2000+ E38 740i and E39 540i and E53 x5 cars .
This is a popular performance upgrade intake manifold for m62b44 or m62b44tu E39 540i or E38 740i cars if your car has a smaller intake manifold, also applicable to E53 4.4 X5 with M62TU engine option.
These are harder and harder to find and becoming more difficult to find. This is a second best option , short of finding one with longer internal trumpets but those are extremely rare.
Sold as is, no warranty or returns. Intake has been cleaned with simple green / water to remove the old oil residue but could probably use another flush if you are OCD.
