This product was developed after I ordered a carbon fiber dash kit for my Porsche to cover my faded and dull looking factory center console. I hated the way the dash kit that I purchased looked. It was just a big, shiny, puffy sticker that didn\'t even cover the entire ashtray panel. Even worse was the fact that it was so thick, the ashtray couldn\'t even open and close normally. What I wanted was a thin, self adhesive cover that could cover the console panel and ashtray. And that\'s exactly why we developed this product. Just look at the photo\'s to see how well the product looks installed on our own 944. I think we have succeeded in making a far better product that is also less expensive than the competitors. What we have here is thin, self adhesive vinyl cover with the look and feel of real carbon fiber. We include (4) pre-cut pieces in this kit (panels on the left and right side of the steering wheel, heater and AC control panel and the long piece above the glovebox). They are precision cut and fit over your existing center dash strip as shown in the photos. No trimming is required for installation. It is easy to install with the included full instructions. The kit is available in a black carbon fiber finish, silver carbon fiber finish orgrey carbon fiber finish. This center dash strip cover will be a perfect match for our Porsche 944 center console and ashtray covers and power window switch panel covers. Please note that the power window switch panel covers are sold separately. They are shown in these photos to show how well they match the center dash strip.These will fit any late 1985-1991Porsche 944 including the 944S, 944S2, 944 S2 Cabriolet and 944 Turbo. They will fit the later 968 models as well. They will fit both left and right hand drive models. If you are purchasing this kit for a right hand drive model please send us a message so we ship the correct pieces. Left hand drive kits are the default kits shipped unless noted otherwise.
