This is a bolt on trigger wheel kit to suit a 2TC/3TC/2TG engine. It comes with the trigger wheel, VR sensor, VR sensor mount, VR sensor pigtail, and the necessary bolts for installation.
Everything is BRAND NEW! No used junk yard parts here!
The metal pieces were laser cut (not waterjet).
This will work will all major brands of aftermarket EFI ECU\'s. I ran it on my personal 77 Corolla with Megasquirt for more than 50,000 miles with no problems!
This will interface perfectly with EDIS ignition system.
In my pictures, the engine was NOT at TDC! This was an old seized engine, and I couldn\'t turn it over to make the timing marks line up.
To install it, you will need to set the engine to TDC. The missing tooth on wheel will point straight down, and the VR sensor should point to the center of the #9 tooth. Please see the drawing for clarification.
These are made from steel, and WILL RUST if you don\'t paint or otherwise protect them. Neither paint nor powdercoating will affect operation of the trigger wheel.
