- 1) Put green painters tape around the latch like you are painting something.The green tape will not leave residue on the paint, when removed
- 2) Use a pliers that has a good grip like Vampliers VT-001-8, to grab the latch and just pull it from its place in the cap area. It will just pop out. The tape will ensure you do not scratch your paint it a slip is made
- 3) It does not matter which way is is inserted. It is reversible. Just insert the new latch and press on it until it snaps into place.
- 4) Remove the tape and polish your ride for a day on the town!
