We at ZZPerformance specialize in aftermarket exhaust systems. We have customers that love it loud and then we have customers that want the performance, but want to be able to have their wife or girlfriend in the car without them whining that it is too loud. So we come out with as many possible solutions. We came out with our custom resonators and mufflers in many different sizes. We always recommend adding a resonator first in the catback exhaust system. Then if you you still think it is too loud we make custom small resonator to place in tighter spots like the downpipe. Then if it\'s about right, but want to make it even a little quieter we started using these cone inserts. When we first were looking for these for a special project we couldn\'t find them for under $100. Literally everywhere who sells these want $100+ which we found ridiculous. So of course we were like we can do this better, at a more affordable price and can dominate the competition. This is the end result. Made of full 304 Stainless Steel made right here in Michigan for a fraction of the what others sell them for. We currently only make them for 3\" OD piping and 2.5\" OD piping. These fit tight inside muffler tips or pipes, but you will want to tac weld them with the tabs built onto it or we also welded a nut on one of the tabs for people that don\'t have access to a welder and want to drill a hole to mount it with a bolt. This will not reduce sound like a resonator or muffler with packing will, but will reduce it from 1 to 3 db on average. This specific listing is for the 2.5\" version. With the tabs they are 4\" in total length. If you are looking for large quantity let us know. You won\'t find a better price period and you won\'t find one that is better quality. We have had customers force on the wrong size bolt and blame us for it getting cross threaded on there. Only use M8 size metric bolt.
