The Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some touring sizes as well.
The tire utilizes a high performance, silica and L. L. Carbon compound and an asymmetric tread design to improve the all weather performing capability. The compound elements actively resist heat build-up in summer temperatures, while optimizing the rubber flexibility in colder weather conditions. The tread’s surface contact and ideal road-to-rubber ratio enhance the grip on the road surface to improve the dry, wet and winter traction. The tread’s center circumferential grooves are Proprietary Pulse Grooves which combat hydroplaning. They channel water and slush from the footprint, ensuring the tire’s surface contact even in wet weather conditions.
The tread design’s surface contact upgrades the controllability. The internal structure and the optimized shoulder pattern work together to keep the ideal road contact throughout the performance. In this manner, the tire greatly boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, ensuring the driver’s better control over the vehicle. The shoulder block placement allows the tire to improve the maneuvering capability. These tread elements improve the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, optimizing the cornering power. The durable tire compound and the optimized tread pattern manage to increase the braking capability. The Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 guarantees exceptional high speed performance. - We accept Returns within a 90-day period starting from the date of purchase!
- No Restocking Fee will be applied and a Full Refund will be provided if the Item is returned in unused condition.
