Here is a genuine 2.5" exhaust tip from a 1991 GMC Syclone. These were specific to Syclones. I pulled this from a truck where the entire exhaust was swiss cheese, and there are some remnants of that here with rust holes.
With some creative piping, this could be run from an aftermarket or catback 3" exhaust and give your truck a "stock" appearance. It could also go on an S10, a Typhoon, or really any vehicle you want.
The hanger is still there, but the hole next to it will need to be patched if you were retaining that much pipe.
Some corrosion under the painted tips (I got them painted like this...from the factory they would be bare steel) but not invasive rust.
With less than 3,000 trucks produced, stock tips don't come up that often.
