1969 Chevelle 396 Big Block 325HP
I recently bought out a largevehicle/engine/collectable estate, I’m selling off what I’m not using. This motor was in dry storage for 27 yearswhen I bought it. I took pics as I got it (on blue engine stand) took it apartfor inspection, took a myriad of pictures that can be seen on the Photobucketlink. Sold as you see it on the redengine cradle with the box behind it. I will bolt it to a pallet and shrinkwrap it for shipment. The motor turnsover freely, the block is bored 60 over, 396’s can be bored to 90 over so ithas at least 1 more rebuild. The crank and rods are STD (no cut numbers on thebearings) This motor has not been balanced on the past (no grind marks on therods)This is a core motor, needs rebuilding. The A/C compressor spins freely. Iinspected the motor as much as possible, all looks good for a rebuild, valveslooked good, didn’t see any obvious burned valves.
