1275 12G940 cylinder head core ready for you to work into whatever spec. of head you require.Has been shot blasted back to bare metal, crack tested, finished in \'grey cast\' undercoat primer.The chamber walls have been swept back to the gasket line with the tool piloted in the guide. This area is the most difficult part of the chamber to modify as it is almost impossible to do by hand without making a mess of it.The head is machined for and supplied with no-lead exhaust seat inserts.What we need to know from the customer is the size of the exhaust valve you intend to run, we then install the seat inserts with the correct inside diameter. Range is 1.156\" to 1.22\"You can run an intake valve up to 1.44\" diameter.
We have dozens of these heads ready to go.You can also choose if you want one with a conventional bypass pipe, or none, or an A+ later casting (some were fitted with 1.401\" intakes), or we even have 12G1306 smog cores.
The normal shop cost for stripping, cleaning, bead blasting, crack testing, undercoating, machining for exhaust seat inserts, and 4 high nickel valve seat inserts is at least $175 so I guess you could say the head is FREE!
