Putting a British Twist on High Performance

This is the official trailer for a brand new Amazon streaming series, called The Grand Tour, starring a trio of guys that you might recognize from the long-running BBC television series Top Gear.

Join Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May as they cavort across the globe test abusing some of the most exotic supercars ever built and landing in their fair share of trouble along the way.

Clarkson is a heralded journalist who currently writes weekly columns for The Sunday Times and The Sun. He specializes in motoring content but he is best known for his role as an often outspoken, and sometimes ill-tempered, host on Top Gear (from 1988 to 2015). Hammond (sometimes referred to affectionately as the Hamster) joined Clarkson on Top Gear from 2002 until 2015, when he began developmental work with W. Chump and Sons and Amazon. May wrote the Motoring section of The Daily Telegraph from 2003 through 2007 but became famous as Clarkson’s co-host on Top Gear. All three are of British descent.

The Grand Tour will be available to the general public on a per episode basis but Amazon Prime customers will be able to watch the complete series free. You’ll want to join this boisterous trio (and crew) as they bring you stunning scenery from the U.S., South Africa, and the U.K. – and don’t forget the cars – lots and lots of top tier performance machines.
