$2000 Street Dig Race – LS Swap Fox Body vs. Nissan GTR

This is what it looks like when you take it south of the border and to the streets for some dig racing action. Tonight, we are looking at grudge racing (for cash) from one of the hottest spots on the left coast – the Compton Speedway. It don’t get more real than this!

After the usual posturing, pandering and name calling, a pair of pretty fast street cars line up on a prepped stretch of four-lane blacktop. Anything can happen after that.

The Nissan GTR Is loaded with a twin turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine. It has been tuned and has all the bolt-ons that money can buy. From the factory the GTR was capable of making 545hp. In the current state, this car can churn out 700+hp (at the crankshaft). Check out those awesome carbon-fiber racing seats. Wow!

The Fox body mustang is a horse of a different color. The owner opted to dispose of the factory Ford mill and install a supercharged Chevrolet LSA engine that generates 556hp in stock trim. This version is running a stand-alone controller with lots of other go-fast goodies.

Let’s see what happens when these two get down to where the rubber meets the road.
