Omega Environmental Technologies HoseAssemblies tubes and fittings match OE design combining the uses of both steeland aluminum. All hose assemblies meet tensile standards for SAEJ51 and IMACA312 for R12 and SAEJ2064 for R134a.

Here are the three mainhose in the ac system.

Suction Line- Is also referred to as thelow-pressure vapor line. In an Expansion valve configuration the line connectsthe evaporator outlet to the compressor inlet. In an orifice tube configurationthe line the line connects from the accumulator to the compressor inlet. Eitherway suction line always connects to the compressor.

Discharge line. Also referred to High-pressuredischarge line, connects the compressor outlet to the condenser inlet. Thisgoes the same for both expansion and orifice tube configuration.

Liquid line- Is also referred as thehigh-pressure liquid line. In an Expansion valve configuration, the lineconnects on the condenser outlet to the receiver-drier inlet. It also connectsthe receiver-drier outlet to the evaporator metering device inlet. In anorifice tube configuration, the line connects on the condenser outlet to theevaporator inlet with the orifice tube inside the liquid line.

When to replace hoseassemblies?

Hose Assemblies and lines should be replace any time they aredamage. When damaged they leak refrigerant and oil which can cause oilstarvation on the A/C Compressor. Resulting in internal damage or prematureclutch wear. So it’s always recommended to replace the accumulator or drierevery time a hose is being repaired.
