The Strup Header is designed to improve engine breathing through the RPM band, but more toward the high end where racing and competition occurs. The Strup Performance Race Header is optimized by heavy research and development time to determine the best header length, the best runner width, and the best design to increase exhaust flow and scavange exhaust from the cylinder head. Every Strup header is designed as a bolt on, and gives you one of the best performance gains for the buck.
Each Strup Header is fully polished to a show shine, and features beautiful tig welds for long life. The Strup 4-1 Header is 4 primary tubes that combine into 1, for the most top end power, and the 4-2-1, is a design that has 4 exhaust runners connect to 2 runners, and then those 2 connect to one. The 4-2-1 design increases mid range power. The Strup Race header, is a full out top end monster, and is best when used in competition where top end power is required.
Header is new old stock. Does show signs of very light corrosion on the flange and very light scuffs and scratches. Overall a very nice performance piece for half the price of new.
