The Cooper Discoverer HTP II is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks and SUVs. Cooper offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with light truck sizes, and a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes of this model.
The tire utilizes its optimal tread design and ideal compound materials to ensure great all weather traction. The tread closely follows the road surface throughout the performance, enhancing the dry, wet, and winter weather gripping ability. The all season compound maintains the rubber flexibility in both high and low-temperature conditions, guaranteeing excellent performance in various situations. The ideal siping design helps with improving the traction throughout the whole year by providing extra biting edges. The circumferential grooves help disperse water and slush away from the footprint, maintaining constant road contact and preventing hydroplaning.
The optimal tread design also helps improve the controllability and driving stability. The pattern maintains the road contact and upgrades the steering responsiveness and handling dynamics throughout the drive. As a result, the tire becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver\'s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure.
