2015-2017 FordF150 LED Headlights – OEM Retrofit – Excellent Condition
Pair of USED OEM LED headlights with complete retrofit DiodeDynamics Switchback LED kit. The running light is white and turn signals areamber (very unique and will definitely set your truck apart from others). Innerhousing is color matched to the truck. Color is Oxford White shell withAbsolute Black accessory pieces (see pictures).
MODIFICATION HISTORY: (Please see all pictures forreference to all listed items below)
- Lensesare both in excellent shape and both headlights are fully operational withno issue. The driver lens has a very vague heatmark on the bottom portioninside the lens. The mark happened during removal of the lens when theretrofit was done. As stated, lenses are still in excellent condition. Thepassenger lens also has a very minor heatmark on the outer edge of thelight. Both of these marks have to be held in light just right to see butare still there.
- Thedriver side had minor condensation issues after initial opening andclosing of the lens. That has been resolved and currently shows no signsof condensation. Headlights were sealed with Morimoto retro rubber and hasa good bead around the entirety of the housing. There are very minorwatermarks on the inside of the driver lens that can be seen when lookedat just right.
- Thedriver side has a mounting tab with a small crack. It’s the tab thatmounts the headlight valance with a push rivet. Tab is still functionaland is was mounted to the truck with no issue.
- Bothdriver and passenger lights have a tab broken (see pictures). It’s a smallhinged tab that snaps in place once the light is installed completely. Ihad them both off when they were on my truck and had no issues. Allmounting tabs that accept bolts are 100% intact. Small tabs mentioned onthis line are kind of useless since the bolts hold the headlight in placefirmly.
- Thepassenger lens also has a scratch on the very top surface (not seen wheninstalled) that was made when re-opening the lens to replace the DiodeDynamics LED boards.
- Thelights will NOT come with the ballasts. The stock LED ballasts should beused when installing these lights.
These lights are completely plug and play with the stock LEDballasts from an existing truck WITH LED headlamps. These lights requirea separate harness if using with halogen headlamps.
Once again, lights come as is WITHOUT the LEDballasts. THEY WILL NOT FIT ON A TRUCK WITH OEM HALOGEN LAMPS UNLESS YOUHAVE THE SEPARATE HARNESS!!!
