Very happy with replacement. I did however run into one issue. The Tire holding part is a bit wider than the original, this made it not possible to put through the original rim. I had to cut off the new holder and place the old one in its place. after that, it all worked flawlessly. Super happy to have a working winch for my tire. Been sitting in garage for too long.

great replacement for F150 2003 spare tire hoist winch.
Wheel Lift fit my F150 2003 like a glove. Only issue I had was the width of the defending unit going thru the original Mag Wheel, center was too narrow for the width of this replacement. All I had to do was cut off the new carrier, (left the cable and the spring intact) then I replaced it with the old one by cutting it the same way i did the new unit. Once I had it replaced I welded closed the cut and it worked perfectly. If your rim is not as narrow as mine was then this will not be an issue for you.Wheel Lift fit my F150 2003 like a glove.
