The part hasn't been installed yet. The current one still kind of works - it comes on some of the time and and at other times doesn't. Hard to tell how often it does come on especially during the day but at night there is the red glow that is easily visible. I got this item because the brake light wasn't coming as it should so I ordered this replacement for which I am thankful that it was available

Sorry for a late review. I didn't change the light yet cause mine started to work again. And because its a very hard work to exchange this type of light. I prefer not to do it yet. Hopefully this works properly when the time to do it comes. Received it on time. Seller answer my question. I recommend it.
