It’s that time of year again. When the dragstrips come alive to let the gearheads show off what they.ve been up to all winter. This is the World Series of Pro Mod and we’re following

Carlos Sobrino and his Joker 2 Fox Body Mustang. Rumor has it that this is the fastest stick shift all-motor Fox Body on the planet. Joker 2 will be competing in the Lil’ Gangsta’ Class.

Try and follow Carlos as he gives us the rundown on Joker 2. She is running a 338 cubic-inch VooDoo motor with Carillo connecting rods and Mahle pistons. Up top, she’s got Billy Godbold camshafts, a custom fabricated intake manifold and twin throttle bodies. The fuel injectors are from Palm Beach Dyno (who are also on hand to assist with the tune). Other interesting features include a dry sump lubrication system and forward-facing exhaust headers with bumper exits. No! It is not turbocharged.

The transmission is a G-Force GF 2000 5-speed manual with an Advanced Clutches dual-clutch setup.

A Holley Dominator controller and Holley dash keep all the soldiers marching in the same direction. It’s tuned by Ken at Palm Beach Dyno.

Lil’ Gangsta’ Class is a small tire, no time, No Prep group with some scary monsters in it. Let’s get down to some racing!
