Whipple Blown Ford F-150 4X4 Takes on Texas Streets
October 29th, 2024It has been said that horsepower is king. While that may be true on the dragstrip, on the street traction is definitely king. Where traction is concerned, you just can’t do better than all-wheel drive. Well, hers’s a truck that has is all – traction and big power.
This is a 2020 Ford F-150 AWD Standard Cab Short Bed with a 5.0-liter V8 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine remains stock except for the Whipple supercharger. The transmission has been bult to withstand the extra horsepower and the truck is tuned. Running slicks on all-four corners, this Cowboy Cadillac is capable of producing 850hp. Let’s see what he’s got when the rubber hits the road.
Up first is a late model Chevy Camaro with a 6.2-liter V8 engine. This boy dog has been upgraded with aftermarket cylinder heads, a high-performance camshaft and a free-flowing intake manifold. This car has also undergone some degree of weight reduction.
There’s also an SSTX modified Nissan GT-R (800HP), a Kong ported Corvette Z06 (950hp), a Nissan 240 with a 2JZ inline 6-cylinder and a big turbo (750hp) and an F1X ProCharged Camaro (800hp). There’s tons of other fast cars, too.
Enjoy the street action.
