The odds of a square-body Chevy S10 Cyclone pickup truck taking on an array of muscle cars in the standing half-mile – and winning – are pretty slim. Then again, most S10 trucks aren’t as well equipped for the task as this one. This is a family project crafted with pride by a father and his two-sons. The best weekend run for this truck was an impressive 159.4 mph.

This sub-compact pickup is packing a 408-cubic-inch LS engine with a Callie’s crankshaft and stroker kit, stock cylinder heads, a camshaft upgrade, a Turbonetics 101-millimeter compressor/91-millimeter turbine, a massive 4L80E automatic transmission, a Moser 12-bolt rear-differential, and they even retained the all-time all-wheel drivetrain (with a stock front differential).
